Dr. Brown is a Mississippi native raised in rural town of Pinola, MS. She is a graduate of Mendenhall High School, JPS-Career Development Center, & Hinds Community College.

She has been in the beauty industry for over a decade. She began 14 years ago by launching a successful career as the owner of Shekinah Glory Hair Designs in Raymond, MS.  It is an atmosphere that many call her ministry as her clients come faithfully to her “spinning pew” where they can get a kind word, smile and new style.
